Leek is one of those rare market towns that still has a unique character and some wonderful Victorian and Georgian architecture. There are regular markets selling locally produced products, wonderful antique shops, lots of great pubs and restaurants (we can provide a full list of recommendations!) and just across the road, behind the church, a simply stunning park.
Also close by is Foxlowe Arts Centre, hosting regular exhibitions, films, live music and comedy acts from far and wide.
There is a brand new large Sainsbury store just 5 minutes drive away and a Co-Op convenience store less that a minute’s walk away.
Just down the road is the Retreat Spa, for those wanting to indulge in some TLC.
Leek is on the northern edge of the Staffordshire moorlands, close to both Cheshire and the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
That puts you within a short drive of some great destinations…
